i did this to check the proportions on this drawing drawing i did [link]
considering its just a concept type sketch, its not vital, but it was bugging me after 2 people said they were off, so i double checked.
All i can see is her left arm, the one coming forward, may be a bit long, discounting perspective. And of course her waist is too skinny ;) (Wink)
The rest seems pretty accurate to a real person (aka not an anorexic supermodel) of about 5'5" or 5'6", to my eyes...

the problem you're prolly running into, is that she looks like a REAL person - not a sylized svelt goddess.

the proportions look great to me, though! - the proportion checking sketch is pretty cool too. =D (Big Grin)

I think it's the head that might look a tad large. And the left arm seems a bit hyper-extended at the elbow. Nice concept, although I tend not to like the mask effect that's going on with her makeup. I'm assuming that's her makeup.

excellent style ... reminds me of feng zhu [link] except that your take is more real (proportionally) like observed said. People are use to seeing illustrated women have the proportions of barbie ... but this is much closer to a real woman ... very good job mate.

Man fuck assholes who can only view art when it is made to shitty predefined ideals the proportions are perfect m especially compared to some other crap I've seen lately (not just on devart)

. ...yeah when i saw the first drawing i thought it was not proportioned right till i looked at it closely . i think what makes it seem she's not proportioned right is her poster... i think .?. heh .

I think that the proportion problem come from the short legs, the ''ideal'' proportion of an human say that the sex part ares in the middle of the body, but in the real life, legs are a little bit shorter. And thats a point why your character look more real, nobody is perfect proportionally. Im not complaining about the draw (that is just perfect in many way) I just give my advice about it.

anyway, keep up the good work, your draws ares amazings and i like to see good work in all the crap that is usually submited.
